How do I apply my La Beach tan?
Express Tanning Foam
1. For best results, use with La Beach Tanning Water Mist.
2. For a flawless and streak-free tan, ensure skin is clean and has been exfoliated the night before.
3. Shake well. Using your La Beach Self-Tanning Mitt, apply evenly to skin. Use sparingly on elbows and knees.
4. Rinse in warm water after 1 hour for a deep tan, 2 hours for a dark tan or 3+ hours for your darkest tan. Your tan will continue to deepen for up to 6 hours after rinsing.
We recommend you use lukewarm water and no harsh soap products for the first 24 hours following tanning. We also recommend you pat dry the area after showering.
Tanning Water Mist
1. For best results, use with La Beach Express Tanning Foam.
2. Ensure skin is clean and has been exfoliated the night before.
3. Shake well. Hold 15cm away from skin and mist 5-6 times, spraying evenly. Use on face, hands and feet to create a flawless finish.
4. Do not rinse off. Ensure skin is dry to touch before applying other products. Your tan will continue to deepen for up to 6 hours.
How long should I leave the La Beach Express Tanning Foam on for?
How long you should leave the La Beach Express Tanning Foam on is completely up to you but we recommend no longer than 6 hours. If you're not sure where to start we recommend the following. For a:
Deep tan – 1 hour
Dark tan – 2 hours
Darkest tan – 3+ hours
Where can I apply La Beach Tanning Water Mist?
We recommend applying your Tanning Water Mist to your face, hands, and feet. The Tanning Water Mist pairs perfectly as a supplement to the La Beach Express Tanning Foam.
How many layers of La Beach should I apply?
The great thing about La Beach Express Tanning Foam is that you only need one application to achieve a luxe bronze glow and perfectly even coverage.
We recommend spraying the Tanning Water Mist 5-6 times to your face, hands and feet to create the perfect, even tan.
How do I make my tan last as long as possible?
To ensure your tan lasts as long as possible, we recommend that you shave, exfoliate and moisturize at least 24 hours before application.

Do you need an application mitt to apply your tan?

Yes, we stand against animal testing and have ensured that all of our products are cruelty free.
After applying my La Beach, how long should I wait until my next shower?
When using the Express Tanning Foam, we recommend waiting 1 hour until you shower.
How long will my La Beach tan last?
Your La Beach tan should last 5-7 days. While all skin types are different, with proper preparation prior to application, your tan could even last longer.
Am I able to use La Beach tan while pregnant?
While the DHA in the tanning formulation typically only affects the top layer of the skin and should not be harmful while pregnant, we always recommend consulting your doctor with any health-related concerns.
Will La Beach tan stain my clothing?
After drying for an appropriate amount of time, you should experience minimal colour transfer with La Beach. While your tan develops, we do recommend wearing dark, loose fitting clothing as colour can transfer during this phase.
Can I jump into the pool or ocean after applying La Beach?
For your tan to fully develop, we recommend staying out of the water for at least 6 hours to allow time for your tan to set.
Will my tan fade if I exercise?
Your tan should remain even and streak-free throughout your active days. However, intense exercise may accelerate the rate at which your tan fades.
Can I travel with my La Beach beauty products?
Yes, you can take your La Beach beauty products with you anywhere you go! We love keeping our Tanning Water Mist in our bags for any touch ups we may need throughout the day.
To avoid any leaks and spills during flights, we recommend packaging your bottles in sealed bags or containers.
Will I still achieve a sun tan if I am wearing La Beach tan?
Yes, you can still tan from the sun while wearing La Beach. However, we always recommend wearing ample sunscreen or putting on your favorite UNE PIECE when exposed to the sun’s harmful rays as our products do not contain any UV protection.
Will La Beach protect me from sun damage?
While self-tanning is a great alternative to the harmful effects of sun-tanning, our tanning products themselves will not protect your skin from the sun.
What is DHA?
